I know I can use condomns.....of course but my fiance has to use the non latex ones because he is allergic to latex and they are expensive......and i dont know if i can use any other type if birth control if i am breast feeding......please what other methods could i possibly use

    • ANSWER:
These are not hormonal methods and are safe during breastfeeding:

      Male and female condoms
      Diaphragm
      Copper intrauterine contraceptive devices
      Cervical cap
      Vaginal sponge
      Spermicidal cream, jelly, or foam

  2. QUESTION:
my penis too big for all of the condomn sizes?
I may be asian but it doesn't stop me from having sex doggie style.

    • ANSWER:
I think you are trolling. They have extra large sizes that are big enough for anyone.

Just in case you aren't trolling: Try the internet for extra extra large sizes. If you are both tested clean, they your lady friend could just use birth control. Or she could use the female condom if nothing else works for you.

  3. QUESTION:
Don't you think morning after pill is getting abused and misused ?
It was supposed to be used only in cases of failed contraception or in case sex by deception or cheating to avoid pregnancy. But if you talk to teenagers , it is quite popular and is getting misused. What is your opinion ?
Edit - Morning after pill is to be used only as an exception and not as routine. It has lots of side effects and its frequent use is not advisable. But many teenagers are using it in lieu of the standard contraception practices. The advertisement is also confusing. Tremendous popularity of this pill is certainly a cause of great concern.

    • ANSWER:
Yes i do. the comercials also i see as a problem it says if your birth control failed teens see it as there are birth control pills and condomns are something else, so girls who have sex a while ago and miss thier period with thier birth control pills think they need to take the plan B pill not many young girls understand that it is a morning after pill and that it is not to be used more than twice in a month. some girls use it as birth control. or take it when they did not actually have sex. i knew a girl who was younger than me she freaked out because her boyfriend touched her female parts with his male parts but did not ejactulate or insert it at all so she went out and got the plan b pill and took it. and then i heard from her often saying she was always taking that pill. I am sure there is some sort of medical health risk behind taking the morning after pill so often and miss using it.

  4. QUESTION:
i had unprotected sex with my girlfriend.. i m not sure whether she is pregnant or not?
what should be the signs to confirm that she is pregnant?
we had intercourse a week back and she started her periods 10 days before the intercourse.
do u think she could be pregnant?

and if she has the regular periods next month is it confirmed that she is not pregnant?

    • ANSWER:
There's always the possibility of pregnancy. A female usually ovulates between the 11th and fifteenth day of her menstrual cycle.

If she misses her period next month then she probably should take a pregnancy test. If she has her regular period..more than likely she is not pregnant.

A woman's cycle begins on the first day of her period, so the first day of her period is day 1. If she started her period 10 days prior to intercourse then you're cutting it close.

But I wouldn't worry till she misses or has a late period, well I wouldn't worry irregardless. Whats done is done, worrying isn't going to change anything either way.

If she turns out not pregnant...well from now on I would have protected sex such as it is, unless you want a baby.

      Best wishes.

P.S. I have had my tubes tied, but planned parent-hood use to give out free condomns and other birth -control if you are having a hard time affording it and there is nothing to be embarassed of because everyone is at planned parent hood for the same or similar reasons pregnancy, concerns over possibly having STDS and treatment. * I would call planned parent hood and make an appointment irregardless, if nothing else to get birth control.*

  5. QUESTION:
is there is neeed to wear condom at the time of physical relations?

    • ANSWER:
In order to practice safe sex; it's always a verrry good idea to use condomn at all times. You 'll have great peace of mind; enjoy the sex more; prevent unwanted pregnancy and most of all any sexually transmitted diseases ( STD's) esp the dreaded Hepatitis; HIV or Aids.

Condoms are considered a barrier method of contraception. There are male condoms and female condoms. A male condom is a thin latex (a type of rubber) sheath that is worn on the penis. A female condom is a polyurethane sheath with a flexible ring at either end. One end is closed and is inserted into the vagina, the other end is open and the ring sits outside the opening of the vagina. The male condom is far more widely used and is sometimes called a "rubber" or "prophylactic."

The male and female condoms should not be used at the same time because they can get stuck together and cause one or the other to slip during intercourse, making them ineffective. The female condom can be inserted up to 8 hours prior to intercourse. It should be removed immediately after sex.

And if a condom ever seems dry, sticky, or stiff when it comes out of the package, or if it is past its expiration date, throw it away and use a new one. It's a good idea to have several condoms on hand in case there is a problem with one. It's best to store unused condoms in a cool, dry place.

A used condom should be thrown in the garbage, not down the toilet. Once a condom is used, it cannot be reused. A new condom should be used each time you have sex and it must be used from start to finish every time you have sex to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Never use oil-based lubricants such as mineral oil, petroleum jelly, or baby oil with condoms because these substances can break down the rubber

In general, how well each type of birth control method works depends on a lot of things. One factor is whether the method chosen is convenient — and whether the person remembers to use it correctly all the time.

In fact studies show that, although it's possible for condoms to break or slip during intercourse, the most common reason that condoms "fail" is that the couple fails to use one at all.

ABSTINENCE (not having sex) is the only method that always prevents pregnancy and STDs

  6. QUESTION:
on the pill, have condomns but still scared bout pregnancy?
well me and my boyfriend have been talkin bout havin sex for a while now nd we're ready its just im scared im goin to fall pregnant evem though im on the pill and we have condomns... any1 else feel the same way??? im 16 and i really want to have sex but im too scared anout pregnancy...

    • ANSWER:
Well for one thing.. if you are scared to have sex don't do it, there is always four play, as for getting prego, here is my little story, I was on the pill and used condoms and guess what I am now 21 with a 4 year old daughter, I started way too early and became a mother way to early but that happens in very few females. Take your time and if you are ready just careful but not scared. And don't get attached b/c your relationship with that person isn't going to last forever!!!

  7. QUESTION:
during sex, at what stage one should use condomn?

    • ANSWER:
You should put on a condom before there is any penis-vagina contact. Sperm can come out of the penis before ejaculation so there is a small possibility it could get into the vagina and cause pregnancy. Also many STIs can be spread just from contact so it is best to have the condom on before ANY physical contact occurs between genitals. Also if you are engaging in oral sex, the male should wear a condom if he is receiving and the female should use a barrier such as a dental dam if she is receiving.

  9. QUESTION:
Can I get pregnant without him cumin?
Unprotected sex, no condomns, not on the pill or any other female contraception, but we never let him finish, he always pulls out and then I get creative with finishing him off... no need for details.

Anyway - might just be a little paranoid, but is it possible to still get pregnant - and has this actually happened to any one??

    • ANSWER:
He can still cumm a little inside you and not even know. Its not the safest thing to be doing

  10. QUESTION:
    Can my girlfriend be prego?
We had sex on Monday and I used a condomn but when I busted in it and took it off I saw something come out. I don't know what it was but I'm nervous. I'm sure that it wasn't me. Then she just got her period Wednesday and she was suppose to get it Friday. I want to know can she be or is she? And what's wrong with her period?

    • ANSWER:
i'm not going to sugar coat for you because every female's body is different. but, sometimes with periods women CAN come before, on, or after the expected date. and because you all had sex and her period came earlier than it was supposed to, you probably coerced it into coming on. for example, like if a female has been off of her period for only 1 or 2 days, if she has sex, it could bring it back down, but not much. in your case you may have brought it on because it was just around the corner. confusing yes, but that's just how the anatomy of the female body works. now on the other side of that, as long as she has a normal period and her symptoms don't last past her period, then she should be alright. meaning if her period's shorter than usual, she continues to feel tenderness in the breast, funny feelings in her stomach, mood swings like crazy, then i recommend taking a test just to make sure.

  11. QUESTION:
Can any female help me please?
Ok,yesterday my friend noticed she had some brown what looked like discharge comming out of her vagina and she had sex that night not knowing what was going on and she didn't use a condomn the first half because there was no brown stuff, then she did after a while and her boyfriend noticed she was bleeding.the next morning she looked on her pad and there was nothing there, she wiped, nothing was there except for more brown stuff. The week before it happened she was expierencing lower pains and lost of diahreea.she is so confused, can anyone help her?

    • ANSWER:
It's not feces! It's just the lining from her uterus. It's very common with the beginning and end of periods. Some that kind of stuck up there may have been dislodged during the sex and came out, or she's about to have her period - diarrhea and lower back pain is a fairly common symptom of PMS. Tell your friend not to worry, she was just spotting before her period probably. She may have some irregularity issues. Also tell her to use a f*cking condom!!

  12. QUESTION:
are soliders in the army allowed to have any sexual engagements while in basic training or is it against rules

    • ANSWER:
Allowed to... NO !! As someone else stated, it's in violation of the UCMJ... though I think that the recruit signs an order that makes them aware that Fraternization is in violation of regulations.

Upon arrival, those condoms will be found and confiscated as "contraband"... there will also be some sharp and snide comments from the Drill Instructor.

I went through Navy Basic Training in 1985 in Orlando, Florida at the TIME we had separate male and female companies. For the most part I was too busy to chase the ladies... look at them yes, but "hook-up": NO.

YES, there were those who were doing a little sneaking up to the laundry room in the late night hours... BUT it is a big risk. We only were allowed to "mingle" during the last few days, and then the day after Pass in Review (Graduation).

YOU DO have a firm idea on HIS mindset though... and don't accept an excuse like: "Umm... I wanted to have them to protect my M-16 if I was in a swamp !!"

      Yeah, THAT'S the ticket !!

  13. QUESTION:
    Do Condom's work?
Study: Even with 100 % Condom Use 30% Still Contract Potentially Deadly HPV Virus

    By Gudrun Schultz

SEATTLE, Washington, June 27, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A new study on condom effectiveness in protecting against the cancer-causing human papilloma virus has shown a discrediting 30% failure rate....The study relied on the journals of 82 female university students who kept daily records of their sexual behaviour, and found that 70% of the women, who reported 100% consistent condom use, were virus-free at the end of three years...

“Why isn’t the fact that condoms, even under ideal usage conditions, failed 28.5% of the time the real story here? Who would consider this an acceptable failure rate when dealing with a cancer-causing virus?”

    • ANSWER:
Well, nothing but abstinence is 100% foolproof. The problem is a lot of people don't use them right. Even if you do there is still a chance. That is the only birth control me and my bf have been using for about a year now and I have not gotten pregnant so I guess they are working for us. I just starting the pill too so we will be double protected to be safe (from pregnancy). I know both of us are clean so we don't have to worry about diseases. But like i said there is always a chance so be careful. I would rather wear a condomn then nothing at all.

Anyway, they never wear condoms at all. Is it true that a lot of these porn actors have HIV/AIDS and just don't care anymore and have sex just for the hell of it because they feel they have nothing to live for? Anybody else heard similiar?

  17. QUESTION:
    Help...Is this normal?
I apologise if this is a bit graphic, but i'm pretty confused. So basically, I was with a guy and we were 'getting it on'. I wasdoing my stuff , then i decided to pull out and change positions. Then I noticed this thick white-ish stuff on his stomach. Anyway, I started freaking out because I assumed that the condomn had split and perhaps he had ejaculated inside of me, without my knowing? He jaust laughed and told me that it was actually mine. So i'm just confused because i thought female cum was supposed to be sort of clear and watery. And besides, the sex was rubbish so i'm not sure I would've actually came.

    • ANSWER:
Haha this question made me laugh ! Thank you for that. & to answer your question it could have been you who ejaculated because girls cum looks the same as guys cum. I suppose if it was rubbish then you might not have came so if you didnt you should've really checked the condom when u were done & if you were still unsure take a pregnancy test cause theirs always a chance.

  18. QUESTION:
How harmful is it for a young woman to go untreated with genital herpes? It there still a chance for children?
Im 22 years old, female and Have been diagnosed with genital herpes three years ago. Ever since I got this information i stopped having pap smears. I am or was scared. I'm only comforted by websites that "claim" they have cures. I haven't tried any. And I must say am not bothered by the outbreaks, as I have hardley any. What i am concerned about is that the bottom of my feet are discolored and have spots appearing as if I have syphillis. I'm scared. Scarred by molestation, neglect, and promiscuity, my life I feel is an end all because I dont know how to approach the situation about telling them, but I do wear condomns. My partner speaks of children and I just dont think with the absense of pap smears my chance has worsned. Oh and not to mention the discharge, and the fact that I know i made it worse by douching! What a dummy!

    • ANSWER:
Herpes happens to 1 in 4 women, and you can live a completely normal life with it - even have healthy children. However, you really do need to start getting your annual PAP if you want to make sure you are healthy. Also, you need to tell your partners about Herpes before you sleep with them or they perform oral sex on you. It can still be transmitted even if you use condoms. Herpes medication is only to suppress the symptoms, since there is no cure for Herpes. Therefore, it isn't necessary to get "treatment" for Herpes. Here are some things I would like you to do:

      1) Find your local Herpes support group. Email me if you have a hard time finding it. I can help you.
      2) Go to the heath department. They usually do free STD testing (except Herpes and HPV)
      3) Make an appointment with an OBGYN. You owe it to yourself and your possible future children

Once you have a baseline, you can deal with all that fear you have of the unknown and the worst case scenario. Then, you can work on some of the larger emotional issues that have been holding you back from having healthy relationships.

      Good luck!

  19. QUESTION:
Why is my tactic of getting girls so LAME ?
I always thought FOR 17 YEARS that you had to flirt your arse off in order to get that girl.. WRONG. A person I know who gave me advice earlier told me that you have to be SUPER flirty if you want to get girls that way but commonly people try making friends with girls ?

Sadly.. I'm not that intersting .. I tend to talk alot and change the subject and I am very random switching subjects and considered "weird"....

I hate to say this but YES I HAVE HAD the OPPOSITE SEX LIKE ME..also the same sex :'(

I'm 17 and a dude, never EVER had a girlfriend... was offered sex but refused it due to my constant fear of producing a baby and having not a single condomn with me.

What's wrong with me ? How can I be normal ? How can I make friends with these interesting breed called females ?
    WOOPSEES... IM NOT GAY :'D

  20. QUESTION:
    ugh discharge or what?
well today it felt like there was stuff coming out of the top of...yeah like pee. its yellow but it keep coming out quiker. what is it? is it a disease? b/c we were talkin in sex ed about yellow discharge but i dont know if it is discharge does anybody else have this? i had it every since i was little. b/c my underwear had yellow like pee or something on the crouch area.

    • ANSWER:
it is discharge but not all discharge is bad. unless you are sexually active and don't use condomns it is not a desease but it could be and infection. if iot is yellow or green and it smells like fish or it itches you need to see a dr. if not it is probably just natural female discharge. here is how that works. after your period is over you will not have much discharge. as the month progresses it will increase. around ovulation (about 14 days after you start your period(don't have sex at this time unless you want to have a baby and I don't suggest it)) it will be a whole lot of clear slippery discharge after that it will slowly go away again until you get your period again. every menstrating woman has this some have alot others have a little it just depends on your body. it is completely normal also if you have never had your period when you are going through puberty right before you get your first period you will have this discharge as well.

  21. QUESTION:
Is church a good place to find a romantic partner?
My friend told me that churches are not good places to find romantic partners because religious people do not practice safe sex? I didn't know what he meant until I attended an evangelical church and a Catholic church in the same week. Both the sermons were about not wearing condoms, not taking the pill and not getting your tubes tied or having a vasectomy. Everybody in the audience seemed to be digging it. All this talk about unprotected sex felt like the equivalent of a porno movie.

I still go to the bars and clubs but I am thinking about giving church another try. I was just wondering if I can get an STI or STD from sleeping with a Christian person?

    • ANSWER:
Sorry about the poor image and representation that the churches you visited gave you.

The purpose of a biblical local church is to teach the Bible to the Christians who attend there. If you are a believer in Christ and you attend a church that teaches the Bible correctly you won't feel like what you are hearing is the equivalent of a porn movie.

If you are aligned with what any church is teaching and you meet a lady there who is on the same page with you and what that church is teaching...then yes you can find a romantic partner there and maybe a life partner. But that shouldn't be you main motivation for going to church.

A lot of Christianity is practical and common sense. If you are having sex with someone who's sexual history isn't known to you there is a risk of contracting a social disease or getting that person pregnant if it's a female. Christians and non Christians get STD's and can pass them.

If you don't want nasties and you aren't ready for marriage a/o parenthood either masturbate or use condomns. The only real sex you will ever have is when you masturbate. Think about it.
