Little White Bumps On Vigina

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
I have many white bumps inside of my labias. What are they?
Do I have an STD if so then how did I did I get it since I'm still a virgin. I am to embarased to ask my doctor and my parents. I think that they are ok since I have had sensitive skin ever since I was little. These bumps are only on the outer part and not in the center or near my vigina opening. But i am afiad that they might be to big although they are only the size of a half a grain of rice. Seeking some help.

    • ANSWER:
if you're a virgin they're not an STD. It's probably something minor, like an allergic reaction to a soap or detergent you're using...especially if you have sensitive skin. To ease your mind, go to your doctor and ask; and by the way, doctor/patient confidentiality will apply. Nothing you tell/ask your doctor will be shared with your parents. Doctors have seen and heard it all...don't be embarassed because there's no reason to.

  3. QUESTION:
how do i know if i have hvp?
i think i may have hvp i have little white bumps on the inside of my vigina they dont hurt or anything they are just there not getting better and seems to be sprending alittle i felt them a while ago and didnt think much bout them until now and i worried can someone give me some more info on what they think?

    • ANSWER:
you're not going to love this answer, but you have to go to a gynocologist. if you have an std, you need to start treatment as soon as possible. if it's not an std, it's probably another sort of infection and that, too, will require medicine. don't be embarrassed to go to a doctor - that's what they're there for and they've seen it all. you'll probably be surprised by how kind and non-judgmental they'll be. To get a quick appointment, just tell the receptionist you have a rash in your vagina. they'll get you in right away.
      good luck!

  6. QUESTION:
Im worried about my friend...she thinks she may have an STD....I hope its something else...What do you think?
She showed me (lol she was worried so i took a peek) these bumps on her vagina. She had had sex with her ex about a month before she showed me these bumps who told her that he got checked and didnt have anything which it turns out that he didnt get checked. He had sex with one girl who had HPV (she says it was the cancer one but im not sure) unprotected, and another girl with protection (not sure if the second girl has anything or not) The first girl who has the HPV says she had cancer and they took it out and that its not sexually transmitted (which I think is a lie personally) Now my friend has 2 little white bumps on the inside of the lips of her vigina and she is worried. SHe has an appoinment set up at the clinic for the 12th. These sores kind of hurt but not too bad but they do itch quite often. She is not sure if she should go up to the E.R. to find out quicker. She wants to but she is on her period so she is not sure if doing that would be appropriate. I just thought i would post this to see what people thought before she went to her appoinment...could it be something else besides something bad???
Please dont post anything mean. Obviously she should of had protected sex but she didnt so here we are.
    Thanks.

    • ANSWER:
she can go to urgent care - the sooner the better - they may go away making it more difficult to diagnosis - but they will return and the whole time they will put her at risk.

go with her to urgent care - if she refuses or tries to ignore the situation then just drop it and tell her you don't want to hear about it anymore - it is her body not yours.

  7. QUESTION:
    Vigina PROBLEM! HELP! A.S.A.P?

    • ANSWER:
little white bumps is usually just sweat glands blocked up and nothing bad, look to see if the discharge is white, girls tend to have a little bit of white discharge anyways that can be a bit itchy, but if its a lot and its itchy as hell then it is thrush which is caused by too much yeast intake and you can get creams, peccary which you insert into your vagina, they dissolve and get rid of thrush, and there are pills. there is usually a GUM clinic in your local hospital which is free and confidential, they will check you for any STI's and STD's including other things, just look on google for you local hospital gum clinic or local gum clinic.

  12. QUESTION:
    sex and yeast infections?
We had sex 3 to 4 times a day for three days. We also both preformed oral on each also. Then we did it again a day later we both felt a little sore and red, thinking just to much sex and the last time I noticed a little bit of white clumps when we were having sex near the end of the act, plus she had problems getting wet, witch never happens. Then i noticed little light red bumps on the shaft, and 8 little bigger darker red bumps in my pubic hair. It itches only a little and a few days later it started to fade but not gone yet, 3 days later now. Now she is starting to itch bad, not all the time with one bump at the top of her vagina. She has never had a yeast infection before, so she is very nervous and can't get to the doctor for a couple days, i recommended monistat 7. I have NOT cheated on her, so that is not an issue. Is this a yeast infection or maybe because not cleaning her vigina well after each day? sounds like yeast infection to me.

    • ANSWER:

Help! I'm 13 and I have these bumps on my vigina?
Ok... I just noticed them a few days ago. Idk how long they have been there and I've been freaking out. I've never had sex I'm 13 years old and I'm to afraid to ask my mom if its natural. Idk how to decribe the bumps but there like on the lips I guess they look kinda white there like all over the lips... I'm just to embarssed to ask my mom anything... Is this natural? If not what is it? PLEASE HELP!
There very tiny not like really big and there ppimple like and I've never done any kind of sexual act the worse I've done is make out with my boyfriend and he's also never done any kind of sexual act except make out with me. I do shave down there though

    • ANSWER:
Have you ever had anyone perform oral sex on you? (dude's mouth on your vagina)
Ever have anyone put their hands there? Like, besides yourself.
      Do you shave down there?

If you shave, there's a really good chance it's just razor burn. Means the skin is irritated from being shaved too often or improperly. It's a delicate area where the skin is really sensitive. Shaving the down there region takes a little extra finesse.

The other option is that you have a rash of some kind or possibly a disease. That's why I asked if you've ever had sexual contact at all. Some STDs can move from genitals to mouth to someone else's genitals. There are four main categories of Sexually Transmitted Diseases/Infections:
      1) Those spread through bodily fluids.
      2) Those spread through skin to skin contact
      -
      3) The kind that have a cure
      4) The kind that don't have a cure yet.
If you've have sexual contact at all its best to as least get a diagnosis from a doctor to confirm what you have. That way you learn more about it and how make changes to your life style if necessary to keep yourself & those around you as healthy as possible.
If you havent had in contact in that area then its probably just from shaving. Stop for a while so your skin can heal. Trim instead to keep things from getting too long. No worries!

    • ANSWER:
Hello Rachey9, here is an article that I had actually found on a teen site but it really explains yeast infections in a informative way. I hope this helps you. Congrats on the baby. Take care.

      YEAST INFECTION

Yeast infections usually occur in warm, moist parts of the body, such as the mouth and moist areas of skin. When they cause an infection in the vagina, it is known as vulvovaginal candidiasis.

Many girls find that yeast infections tend to show up right before they get their periods because of the hormonal changes that come with the menstrual cycle. Clothing (especially underwear) that is too tight or made of materials like nylon that trap heat and moisture might make yeast infections more likely because yeast can thrive in this type of environment. Using scented sanitary products can irritate the vagina, and douching can upset the healthy balance of bacteria in the vagina. Both can make yeast infections more likely.

Yeast infections can happen to any girl, and they're not considered sexually transmitted infections — although they may be able to be spread from one sexual partner to the other. This is rare, though, and the partner of someone who has a yeast infection does not automatically have to be treated unless symptoms appear.

What Are the Symptoms of a Yeast Infection?
Common signs and symptoms of yeast infections may include:

•itching and irritation in the vagina
•redness, swelling, or itching of the vulva (the folds of skin outside the vagina)
•a thick, white discharge that can look like cottage cheese and is usually odorless, although it might smell like bread or yeast
•pain or burning when urinating or during sex

If you have any of these symptoms, see your doctor or gynecologist. It's easy to confuse the symptoms of a yeast infection with those of some STDs and other vaginal infections. Your doctor can give you the right diagnosis so that you can be treated appropriately.
